Stephen Dent attended school at Harvard University, which is easily one of the most widely respected and well-known tertiary institutions in the world. Harvard University is a prestigious school and Stephen Dent was lucky enough to be able to attend the school and obtain his Bachelors of Arts degree in International Finance. He returned to Harvard Business School in order to obtain his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree, graduating with honors after maintaining a 4.0 GPA. This education would benefit immensely not only in the short term, but also in the future. After leaving Harvard University, Stephen Dent launched a career in the financial industry that has been profitable, successful, and personally rewarding.

Stephen Dent participated in a Judicial Internship Program from 2007 until 2009, where he was able to learn a good deal about the inner workings of the legal system. In this program, he was afforded the opportunity to conduct background research for briefings, draft correspondence for lawyer communications, and provide executive summaries of relevant news. In general, he provided support to the Office of the Counselor to the Chief Justice.

Stephen Dent worked as the Legal Counsel to PriceWaterhouseCoopers from 2009 until 2012. In that position, he oversaw the legal situations between the firm and customers on a day-to-day basis. This included drafting settlements, handling negotiations related to reduced litigation, and negotiating contracts with partnering firms and customers. Today, Stephen Dent is the President and CEO of Dent Inc., an investment banking firm he founded which is based out of Greenwich, Connecticut.
